Our products
Traditionally
Our products are produced in the privately owned vineyards of the Kazakis family, covering an area of about 80 acres, in Nea Gonia, Halkidiki. The methods we use in cultivation and their preparation combine modern agronomic know-how with the traditional recipes of our grandparents, as brought with them from Asia Minor, Eastern Thrace and Armenia. That is why all our vines are of the “Sultanina” variety which gives soft and tasty leaf, despite the low yield of grapes.
Organic
Already in the early 90s we converted our vines to organic. Despite the comparatively high cost of organic farming, we believed that this method of viticulture suited us best. Not only are our products pure, without chemical fertilizers and other industrial additives, but they are also more palatable since our vines are grown in a natural way, respecting the environment, giving products that are completely safe for the final consumer.
Certified
We continuously apply the highest standards of hygiene and food safety with zero tolerance for deviations, as well as quality assurance methodologies specifically designed for our industry and our own cottage industry. Our efforts are regularly monitored by the relevant bodies and certified by the respective institutions. Our organic vines and products are certified by BioEllas (A.M. 160287) while our laboratory and quality procedures are controlled by QMSCert. All our products are subject to regular laboratory analyses by Foodlab.
