Activities
at the Kazakis House of Viticulture
Our facilities are open all year round, with a simple phone call, as we are members of the Wine Roads of Northern Greece network. Throughout the year we organize activities, in which you can freely participate either individually as families or organized as school classes or tourist groups.
School Visits
Throughout the year, you can visit us with your group. A guided tour of the vineyard is held, where the work that is done during the year is presented. Then, in our showroom, there is a presentation of the final products and a tasting, while the processes we follow are analyzed. Finally, there is an optional demonstration of the dolma wrapping process, after which you can try wrapping your own dolma!
Greek Summer
In collaboration with the American Farm School of Thessaloniki, every summer we host “Study Abroad” students at our facilities, showing them what we do and how we do it.
After a brief tour of our vineyards, we discuss the opportunities and prospects of agriculture in Greece, as well as its recent developments over the years.
Pick your own grapes!!!
Depending on the weather, our vineyards are open to visitors on the last weekend of August. You can come with your family and together we can visit our nearest vineyard (across the road).
There, you can pick the grapes you want from the vineyard and take them home with you. If you wish, you can also tour our facilities and see how we make Mariana’s Vine Leaves and Mariana’s Dolmades.
