Description
Marianna’s handmade pies are produced by the women’s cooperative of Nea Gonia, the Goniatisses. It all began in the mid-2000s when Marianna Kazaki and her friends, Evgenia Kazana, Eleni Kazaki, and Roula Tsiotsi, decided to turn their hobby into a business. With ingredients purchased daily by the Kazakis Vineyards, Marianna’s recipes, and their labor, the Goniatisses make Marianna’s handmade pies every day. Always maintaining the quality of Marianna’s other products, and always unmatched in taste. Marianna’s handmade Spinach and Feta (P.D.O.) Cheese Pie is made in small batches each time, using only the best ingredients. It contains 270 grams of spinach and 100 grams of whole Feta cheese (Protected Designation of Origin – P.D.O.) per kilogram of pie, truly embodying the term “spanakotyropita.” The pie is made with hand-rolled dough, prepared daily by the Goniatisses, using only flour from Halkidiki. Marianna’s handmade Spinach and Feta Pie is already exported to most countries in the European Union and is available in selected Greek and Mediterranean product stores. It is also used in restaurants and hotels that offer Greek breakfast. Without preservatives or other additives, Marianna’s handmade Spinach and Feta Pie goes straight from the freezer to the oven and is ready to enjoy after proper baking.
