Marianna’s handmade pies are produced by the women\u2019s cooperative of Nea Gonia, known as Goniatisses. It all began in the mid-2000s when Marianna Kazakis and her friends, Evgenia Kazana, Eleni Kazaki, and Roula Tsiosi, decided to turn their hobby into a profession. With ingredients purchased daily by the Kazaki Vineyards, Marianna\u2019s recipes, and their daily work, Goniatisses make Marianna\u2019s handmade pies every day. They maintain the same quality as other Marianna’s products and are always unbeatable in taste. Marianna\u2019s handmade leek pie is suitable for a vegan diet and produced in small batches each time, using only the best ingredients. It contains 590 grams of leek per kilogram of pie, giving true meaning to the word “leek pie.” It is made with extra virgin olive oil. The pie is made with hand-rolled phyllo dough prepared daily by Goniatisses, using only flour from Halkidiki. Marianna\u2019s handmade leek pie is already exported to most countries of the European Union and is available in selected Greek and Mediterranean product stores. It is also used in restaurants and hotels offering Greek breakfast.
